Rebecca is a highly trained acupuncturist and herbalist with a a passion for finding ways to integrate both Eastern wisdom and Western scientific thought. In addition to her work as a practitioner she is the Program leader for the postgraduate courses at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and teaches at the Northern College of Acupuncture in the UK. She currently teaches Chinese Herbal Medicine in Context and supervising MSc research students but has previously been the module leader for Chinese classics. She has led the Master program at the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine, developing courses on advanced gynaecology, research, preventative healthcare, and herbal medicine. Rebecca completed a PhD at the University of Portsmouth researching how Chinese herbs may work in fertility. She has studied in China in both Hangzhou and Anguo completing an internship and postgraduate training.
